Now Accepting Workshop Proposals for ADAMHS Board Training Institute

The ADAMHS Board is now accepting workshop proposals for the Training Institute. Proposals are being accepted through the Workshop Proposal Form at the bottom of this page. Topics areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

The ADAMHS Board Training Institute Advisory Committee is made up of representatives from the behavioral health community, hospitals, education, family/consumer groups as well as faith based. All proposals submitted will be reviewed and rated by the Committee. Potential presenters will be notified via email regarding the status of their application.


ADAMHS Board Trainer/Speaker Fee Schedule

The ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County will provide trainer/speaker fees as follows:

  • $600 for a full-day workshop.
  • $300 for a half-day workshop.
  • Less than $300 for special workshops under 3.5 hours.

Requirements

Presenter Qualification Requirements:

  • Current Licensed professionals, including LPCC, LISW, LIMT, LICDC, OCPS-11, etc.
  • Persons with lived experience as a client/consumer receiving behavioral health services and/or in recovery from mental illness and/or addictions.

Presentation Format Requirements:

  • Must allow breaks every 50 minutes
  • Interactive, creative workshops that will engage students through either scenario-based activities, video, etc. are encouraged
  • Pre and post tests are suggested
  • PowerPoint presentations must:
    • Have a font size of 30 or larger
    • Have no more than 8 lines of text per slide
    • Have no typos or abbreviations
