About:

Providence House protects at-risk children and supports families through crisis, strengthening communities to end child abuse and neglect. They offer temporary emergency shelter for children from birth through 12 years old for up to 60 days (extensions available for up to 90 days), and provide for their physical, emotional, developmental, and education needs through partnerships with community providers and the children’s parent/guardian. Providence House also supports the parent/guardian by connecting them to resources, cultivating nurturing practices, and encouraging responsibility through case management, parent support, and educational services, trauma screening and assessment, and aftercare/wrap around service provision.
