About:

Hispanic UMADAOP empowers the Hispanic/Latino community to reduce the negative impacts of HIV/AIDS, violence, and abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs through culturally sensitive, holistic prevention, education, intervention, treatment, and re-entry programs.  HUMADAOP has two service components: Prevention and Treatment. Through in-school and out-of-school partnerships, HUMADAOP provides substance use prevention education and personal empowerment/development services to elementary, middle and high school youth. Through community partnerships, HUMADAOP offers opioid education and distribution of naloxone kits (MetroHealth-Project DAWN), fentanyl test strips (ADAMHS Board) and clean needle exchange (Circle Health Services). Through the Miguel Prieto Treatment Services Center, HUMADAOP provides individualized bilingual residential and outpatient services for adult males and females.
