About:
Reaching out to adults and children in Northeast Ohio to end homelessness, prevent suicide, resolve behavioral health crises and overcome trauma. FrontLine's efforts directly help those who are homeless, severely mentally disabled, in psychiatric crisis, and those who have been traumatized by violence in their home or community. As their services have expanded over the years, the philosophy of reaching out, engaging those with the highest barriers and building the trust necessary for them to engage in care remains at the forefront of FrontLine's purpose.
FrontLine's homeless assistance programs provide assertive street outreach, coordinated intake to the county’s emergency shelters, temporary housing, case management, psychiatric and drug and alcohol programming for individuals with co-occurring disorders, along with more than 1,000 units of permanent supportive housing with specialized services to families, young adults and veterans. In partnership with Care Alliance, FrontLine Service also provides integrated primary and behavioral healthcare to homeless individuals with severe mental illness or those who are formerly homeless to address the unmet healthcare needs within this population. FrontLine outreaches to children exposed to violence and families who have experienced the traumatic and sudden death of a loved one. FrontLine’s team of Master’s-prepared and licensed clinicians are called by local law enforcement and other agencies to provide immediate assistance to victims in acute crisis and after traumatic events 24/7, 365 days a year.
