Mental Health 101 Training

Mental Health 101 was designed by the Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board of Cuyahoga County specifically for the staff of the Cuyahoga County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). However, it is a valuable resources for anyone seeking information on mental illness.

The objective of Mental Health 101 is to provide accurate information about mental illness, the signs and symptoms of various disorders, treatments, medications and available community resources. This workshop explores various screening tools, communication and crisis de-escalation techniques and referral services.
