The ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County invites you to participate in an Addiction Recovery Advocacy Meeting on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Tri-C Jerry Sue Thornton Center.

This meeting brings together family members who have lost a loved one to addiction, individuals with a loved one struggling with addiction, recovery advocates, professionals, and family support groups to unite powerful voices and create change through action.

We have a packed agenda for the evening, including:
• An update on what the ADAMHS Board is doing to combat addiction and support recovery in our community since we last convened.
• A presentation by Julia Ellifritt from Cornerstone of Hope on their traumatic loss survivor group.
• Orlando Howard of Rosary Hall - St. Vincent Charity Medical Center will share information about their new walk-in admissions for detox.
• A new theater prevention program in Cleveland, Improbable Players, kicks off its first season in the new year. Karen Snyder will introduce this exciting new program to the group and share how you can get involved.
• Addiction is a family disease - Maureen Boyle will share her recovery story as a loved one of someone in recovery.
Please join us to continue important conversations about addiction and recovery in our community.
