Addiction is a commonly missed, serious and growing problem among older adults and one that requires special insights and treatment approaches. This conference examines the impact of addiction on the diagnosis and treatment of co-existing health conditions of older adults, explores the relationship between trauma and addiction, and offers professionals treatment options for older adults with addictions.
