The ADAMHS Board, in partnership with The Life Exchange Center, has developed a Transitional Youth Housing Pilot Program for transitional youth. The TYHP is a housing program developed to support young adults, ages 18-25, in gaining independent living skills and self-sufficiency through a non-clinical peer support model with the ultimate goal of permanent housing.

The program utilizes a peer-support model that features peer support specialists- trained individuals living in recovery from a mental health and/or substance use disorder- who will be assigned to each resident to help develop independence and self-sufficiency. The apartment building has three floors and five one-bedroom units.
