Continuing Education Workshops for Community Health Professionals

This workshop series was created in response to the 2018 Ohio Community Health Worker Statewide Assessment, which indicated the need for a centralized place for community health professionals to gain training, certification and continuing education. The series brings together community health workers and the professionals with whom they work to address the barriers their clients face pertaining to the various social determinants of health.

Cost: $60 for a block of 12 CEUs

GOALS
To enhance the knowledge base of community health workers, social service and health care professionals.

To provide public opportunities to learn about evidence-based practices in community and behavioral health.

To obtain the continuing education required for ongoing certification through the ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County, Cornerstone of Hope and the Ohio League for Nursing (pending).

To learn, gather resources and network across disciplines.
